Lisi Martinez Lotz, PhD
Lisi Martinez Lotz works within grants management at the Duke Cancer Network. Lisi has over 15 years of experience in academic and nonprofit sectors. She is passionate about social justice issues including equal access to health care, women’s rights, and immigrant rights. Her experience includes advocating for the Latinx community, for domestic violence survivors, and for international access to healthcare measures. She gained valuable experience in advocacy, development, and partnership building while at the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Compass Center for Women and Families. Her extensive background and personal ties in Latin America are an excellent fit with Vaccine Ambassadors‘ work in the region. A longtime resident of Chapel Hill, Lisi received her doctorate in Latin American History and Gender from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
