Cuore is known to have a marketing mind with a creative eye. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Digital Media, specializing in Web Design from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She has worked with multiple nonprofits of different sizes, from pediatrics to puppies. Cuore has guided them in efforts to support their respective missions in the digital space through branding initiatives such as websites, print materials, and social media graphics. She joined Vaccine Ambassadors as a web designer to leverage the organization’s mission with her extensive and creative skillset.

every human on this planet deserves to live a healthy life in a healthy environment so they too can have equal opportunities to make a difference in their community and help solve the world’s greatest problems.

Elizabeth Torres

Elizabeth is an English-Spanish Translator from Chile. She graduated with a Bachelor Degree in English-Spanish Translation/Interpretation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile, and is currently finishing a Master Degree in Audiovisual Translation from the Universidad de Cadiz, Spain. She has volunteered as a translator for magazines, such as Patagon Journal and Global Research, which advocates for sustainability, culture, and globalization. She works as a translator because she strongly believes that language professionals help in building culture, as well as, understanding and connecting citizens from all over the world. In her free time, she works as a mountain interpreter assisting local guides and tourists in Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia.

I hope to be able to break language barriers within the community and assist with equitable access to information.

Katherine Nowak

Katherine has a bachelor’s degree in biology and experience as a research technician in the Integrative Immunobiology department at Duke University. She is now entering the field of public health as a Program Coordinator at the Fund for Public Health in New York City. She joined Vaccine Ambassadors in 2023. Katherine has been an integral member of our social media team, lending her expertise on several national and international immunization campaigns. Her contributions are aiding in the health equity movement and improving health literacy.

I am a Vaccine Ambassador because...

my time in an immunology lab has taught me about so many amazing technologies that can be used to prevent and treat disease. I want to help make these innovative and effective prevention measures, such as the HPV vaccine, available to everyone.
