Many Parents Walk Miles So That Their Children Can Be Protected by Vaccines.

Let's Meet Them Halfway.

Join the Vaccine Ambassadors Read-a-thon!

.

By participating in the Vaccine Ambassadors’ Read-a-Thon, you will not only increase your child’s love of reading, but you will also support children throughout the world with much needed vaccines. As a participant, for every book your child reads another child in the world will benefit. Ask your friends, family, and neighbors to pledge their chosen amount for each book your child reads. Money raised will go directly to the purchase of vaccines and immunization services. Just as an example, $2 can purchase the DPT vaccine for 6 children. Our goal is for kids to learn to appreciate reading while learning about other cultures and giving back to their global community.

Each year 1.7 million children die due to diseases that can easily be prevented. Over 90% of these children live in areas of the world where there is not access to routine immunizations. Think globally; act locally!
