Rebecca Joyner is a Partner in the law firm of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP. She is with their Public Finance Group where she works with local governments across the state to secure financing for cities, towns, counties, private schools, colleges and universities and other non-profit institutions across the state of North Carolina.
In 2007, she spearheaded the North Carolina Women in Public Finance (NCWPF), a statewide educational and professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry. Rebecca was selected in 2010 by North Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Bonds/Government Finance, an honor that is awarded to only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state. As a dynamic leader in her field, Rebecca was a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal’s 2013 Women in Business Award.
Rebecca is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, earned her Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University and her law degree from Fordham University. She has served on several non-profit boards and is active in the Durham community. Rebecca is married to Ben Joyner, a pediatrician, and they have three school-aged kids.
